Before you install
Where does patient data live?
On the server you host. This is a self-hosted Laravel app, not a clinic SaaS. You still need your own privacy, backup, and clinical-compliance process.
Are Stripe, calendars, chat, and AI required?
No. Booking, notes, and the staff dashboard work without them. Payments need Stripe or PayPal if you take card. Chat needs Pusher. Calendar sync needs Google or Outlook. The AI helper needs whatever key that module expects.
Is this a medical device?
No. It is practice operations software (booking, records, billing). It does not replace clinical judgment or certified diagnostic tools.
